Young Leaders Make a Difference: Muskegon Recognizes Thredz Y3 Program

The City of Muskegon Commission recognized the Thredz Y3 program and its young leaders for their commitment to strengthening democracy through voter registration and advocacy. The Thredz Y3 program is an initiative dedicated to amplifying community voices and developing youth change makers. The young leaders in the program played an integral role in key national and local initiatives such as National Voter Registration Day and National High School Registration Week. They also registered over 75 new voters and distributed more than 2,500 nonpartisan voter education packets throughout Muskegon County.
