1989 Muskegon Air Fair Highlights

The Muskegon Air Fair entertained residents and visitors for over two decades with dazzling aerial acrobatics and exciting displays. Launched in 1984 by Terry Grevious, the Muskegon County Airport director, the air show became a beloved tradition for 23 years.
Thrilling performances by the Blue Angels, the U.S.'s oldest flying aerobatic team, and the U.S. Army Golden Knights Parachute Team were a major draw for the event. Beyond the high-flying acts, the Air Fair also offered historical exhibits, heart-pounding races featuring jet-powered trucks reaching speeds of 300 mph, and a memorable performance by singer Sheryl Crow.
Sadly, after facing several years of financial difficulties, the Muskegon Air Fair bid farewell in 2007.
