The wait is over, and the banner is finally home! Last week, the Muskegon Lady Reds returned to a hero’s welcome after their dominant run to the MHSAA Division 1 State Championship.
After an unforgettable performance on the big stage at MSU’s Breslin Center, the Lady Reds proved they are the best in Michigan. This isn't just a win for the high school—this is a historic milestone for our entire community. The Lady Reds are officially the FIRST girls' basketball team in the history of Muskegon County to bring home a state title!
From the red carpet entrance to the celebration in the Redmond Potter Gymnasium, the energy proved that this victory belongs to all of Muskegon. Congratulations to the "Authors of History" for cementing their legacy and showing the state what Muskegon County heart is all about.
